Description:
PRIME served as
Seaport Representative for this $76 million redevelopment and expansion
of Terminals 3, 4 & 5. Completed in 2000, two 1050’ berths
are serviced by a 240,000 square foot twin terminal. A 750 car parking
deck was constructed in the initial project. A $16 million second
phase in 2003 added additional mobile gangways and another 1,000 car
garage.

Facts:
This fast
track project was developed to accommodate the maiden voyage schedule
of the first Voyager Class mega-ships. In addition to accommodating
the largest cruise ship in the world, it was the first terminal built
to provide automated baggage systems, mobile gangways and airport
check-in and baggage screening.
